Sirius Xm Radio in Oakville, Ontario - XM Radio is a disaster! Customer service from ***.

Despite only agreeing to a one year pre-paid contract with XM (one year ago) my Visa has been billed for a second year with a 30% price increase... This despite telling XM reps repeatedly that I would not be renewing considering the 30% price increase over my first year and in light of the generally poor content. When I received a second call to inform me 'I was being renewed automatically', I said that I did not want to be "renewed" and that I had already told an XM rep exactly that. I was told I had to call a different department to cancel a subscription I had never agreed to...EVER. After two attempts to call the cancellation department and being promptly hung up on when I said I was not interested in renewing my contract...this after several minutes on hold, I gave up. I figured - They can't bill me for a service I have never requested, agreed to etc. WRONG! Despite telling two separate people at XM that I would not be renewing my subscription I was shocked to see my Visa billed for $200 without my consent. XM's customer service is without a doubt THE worst I have ever encountered. Anyone entertaining the idea of subscribing to the service should first 'google' 'XM radio complaints" or the like. BTW: I subscribed to XM with the promise of 'commercial free content'. Bull cookies! Many of the stations/much of the content is littered with low budget, annoying, repetitive commercials that blare at a higher volume than the broadcast. Basically, I was faced with paying $200 a year so I could listen to the BBC. I am talking up my concerns with the CRTC (not sure if they have any sway in matters of satelite radio?) Industy Canada's Office of Consumer Affairs and Visa's fraud department.

Sirius Xm Radio in Lansing, Michigan - XM Radio -- Rip off artists with terrible customer service -- Avoid at all costs

XM Radio has absolutely ATROCIOUS customer service. They will lie to you, overcharge you, and dismiss any complaints. If you doubt me, do a quick Google search for XM Radio Customer Service and read the thousands upon thousands of disaster stories. After too many years of trying to make it work with this relatively new company, I've given up after they recently overcharged me and refused to refund my money, and instead just decided to credit it to my next year's bill (a bill I won't be paying). Three calls all netted promises of refunds, but none came. I sent an email, and received a 2 word response -- "Assume resolved." Of course they never resolved anything. Stream Pandora or another phone-based radio system into your car or home, but avoid XM at all costs.

Sirius Xm Radio in Phoenix, Arizona - XM radio sold service not provoded. Customer service terrible.

XM radio sold me services which wound up not being included in the package promised. After 8 calls to customer service I did get one supervisor to correct the issue. Then 2 weeks later they automaticly deleted the service with no call or notice to me. I called customer service bac. After ....being placed forever on hold, being disconnected twice, they promised... twice... to contact me to resolve the problem. They have never made contact. i made a bet with the last customer service rep that I would never hear from them ...I win....I would not deal with these guys...They are terrible!!!
