Sirius Xm Radio - Subscription Review from Chesapeake, Virginia

I recently purchased a car that had a fancy Nav Radio and it came with a free trial of Serius XM radio. I have been a Serius customer for 10 years but my older car wasn't Navigation fancy and I only had the satellite radio. This one has More channels, weather and traffic services which I enjoyed and they called it total package. Weeks after I purchased the annual package I found out that the weather and traffic services were not included when I tried to use them. I called and they agreed that'll telling me I had purchased the total package was a bit unclear but none the less wanted me to pay extra to get them back. I cancelled my 10 year relationship with them and offer this bit of advice to those who think they are getting all that they were shown. I find this message especially important to consumers because I just found out my sister fell for the same ploy at the end of her free trial.

Sirius Xm Radio in Woodbridge, Virginia - SHADY WAY TO DO BUSINESS

I received a "free trial" with the purchase of my car. After a week, I was only getting one station w/ 24/7 commercials, so I called Sirius. Big mistake, they are saying I called to sign up for service (why would I do that in my "free trial?" So, phone calls started coming in advising me of late payments.......then a statement. If I had signed up for service, don't you think a credit card would have been provided? So, when I called to report the problem, what was their resolution? They wanted to provide me with a complementary extension of my free trial. I said no, tell me the damages, this was going no where. (my job does not permit collections on my credit). So, what do they want???? A credit card. Unbelievable. Use EXTREME CAUTION - I'm still not finished and suspect I am going to be contesting credit card charges until I can get rid of these people. They deserve to go out of business in a ball of flames.

Sirius Xm Radio in Spotsylvania, Virginia - Anything to get your $$$$

Sirius Satellite radio has sent us to collections for their mistake. It appears that when we traded in our last car to buy a new Chrysler, they billed us for the old car even though we don't have it anymore. When I call Sirius, they show in their system, that we have a zero $$ balance, but this collection agency just keeps telling us to read the terms and conditions of our contract with them. I have pulled up our old billing statements and can clearly see where they are billing us for the old car, but to no avail, the collection agency won't hear us out. Heaven forbid they have made a mistake! I have 3 months left of a free trial, and you can bet I will NOT be renewing my subscription....guess I better start saving up now for the bill they're going to be sending me. I would highly recommend to anyone reading this....DO NOT subscribe to Sirius XM radio.....they may have a great selection of channels, but it's not worth the headaches or the impact it can have on your credit rating.
